Service Coordination Review (Disability SA)

Consultation about the Service Coordination Review was a joint project of Disability SA and the Disability Advisory Network (DANSA). The consultation enabled consumers, family members and carers to have their say about different and more relevant ways for Disability SA to support clients and their families. More than 600 South Australians had their say via the surveys (online and postal), by phone and face-to-face at the forums. All comments are being collated and assessed and a feedback report will be available via this website in September 2008.

The results of the survey are very positive, with the key findings from the 2007 survey including:

  • 73% of partners are satisfied with the overall quality of customer service delivered by DFC
  • 59% of partners are satisfied that their views have been listened to via engagement processes
  • 73% of partners reporting that DFC has treated them fairly and ethically.

In addressing these areas, DFC has developed a twelve month plan to further strengthen our relationship and work with our partners.

View the twelve month plan and a summary of the survey results.

DFC intends to undertake the survey annually and welcomes further comments from all its partners in 2008.
