Community Benefit SA

Community Benefit SA (CBSA) assists disadvantaged individuals, families and communities by providing one-off funding to incorporated, non-government, non profit, charitable and social welfare organisations to:

  • Improve the well-being, quality of life, community participation and life management skills of disadvantaged individuals and communities.
  • Develop and strengthen communities across the metropolitan, rural and remote regions of South Australia.
     

Review of CBSA

A community consultation about the Community Benefit SA (CBSA) program was conducted in 2011. The consultation results can be found on the consultation pages of the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion website.

The review will explore opportunities to simplify application forms and improve timing of grants for future funding.
 

Equipment Funding

Results of the Equipment Grant can be found on the CBSA publications page.

Two hundred and sixty four (264) applications were received with 120 projects receiving funding. 94% of applicants applied online.
