There are many support services and resources to help families and young people in our community. Whether you are new to the parenting role or thinking of starting a family, here's a good place to begin. There are also information about protecting children, and services for those who are or have been in care.

 

For those who want to adopt or place their child for adoption, or those who were affected by adoption and looking for information about their adoption.

Types of alternative care, rights of children in care, including those under the Guardianship of the Minister, and other resources for children and young people in care and transitioning from care.

 

For foster carers, relative and kinship carers and those who would like to become foster carers.

For parents and families, including grandparents and relative caregivers.

 

For care leavers who need assistance to access services and support.

Information for children and young people who are abused, about our responsibilities to keep children safe and about recognising and reporting child abuse and neglect.

 

Contains information about youth programs, education, training and work, crime and justice, and health and lifestyle for young people.
