Looking for information about adoption to complete your project? You have come to the right section.

There are plenty of information and links about past adoption, adoption of Australian born children, overseas adoption and adoption of Australian Aboriginal people.

Another useful tool for your project is the Australian Institute of Heath and Welfare annual publication Adoptions Australia. This publication contains valuable statistics and information from each State and Territory of Australia for each financial year.

If you are particularly interested in intercountry adoption, have a look at the Adopting an overseas child section of this site. You will find plenty of links there to South Australian and other groups that might be able to help you.
